Registration is mandatory to access the different library facilities and resources and to benefit from our services.
How to register ?
- You are automatically registered.
- Your ULiège/CHU student/member card is your library card.
- Your ULiège/CHU ID enables you to access your library account and the services.
You can pre-register online.
Finalise your registration by going to the reception of one of the following facilities with your identity card:
- 20-Août : Reading Room
- Outremeuse : Architecture
- Sart Tilman : Léon Graulich (no registration on Saturdays)
- Sart Tilman : Health-CHU
- Sart Tilman : Sciences
- Sart Tilman : Polytech
- Arlon : Environment
- Gembloux : Agro-Bio Tech
A digital photo will be required to print your card. Several facilities are equipped with a web cam.

Library ID number
- ULiège/CHU member: your library ID number is your university ID (S------, U------, C------)
- Others: your library ID number is shown on your card (B------)
Fees
- ULiège/CHU members: free of charge
- External visitors:
- Free of charge for those who wish to use our services and resources for personal, non-profit purposes. A one-time contribution of €5 is requested for the card (refugees are exempt from this contribution).
- €50 per year for those who wish to use our services and resources for profitable endeavours (legal professions, companies, pharmaceutical firms, etc.).
Validity
- ULiège students: until the end of the academic year.
- ULiège/CHU staff: until your U/C account expires.
- External visitors: 1 year.
Renewing your registration
- ULiège/CHU members: renewal is automatic.
- External visitors: simply go to the reception of one of the facilities mentioned above with your library card (even if it has expired) and your identity card.
