The 5PMIS framework explicitly concerns university teaching and information literacy. It is adapted to all of the eleven faculties in the University of Liège, which are spread across the three sectors (Human Sciences, Sciences and Technology and Health Sciences).
It is intended to:
- serve as a guide when developing training courses around information literacy;
- be used as an evaluation tool for existing courses on information literacy;
- serve as an information tool for non-experts who want to undertake training on information literacy;
- inform teachers about the resources to be incorporated into the skills frameworks, which have been drafted or are being drafted in the departments and faculties belonging to the University of Liège.
