The winter break is here: what adaptations are planned for services, libraries and study rooms?
Services on vacation
- Book orders and digitization requests: due to the closure of some libraries and the book store from December 21 to January 5, it will not be possible to obtain documents or digitizations during this period. All the requests sent to the book store until December 19 at midnight will be fulfilled, the ones sent later on will be answered on January 7 in the afternoon.
- Helpdesk: from December 23 to January 3, our chat service will be unavailable and follow-up by e-mail on requests for help may take longer.
Library opening hours
We would like to remind you that, until January 24, library study is reserved for ULiège and CHU de Liège members, due to overcrowding during the cramming period.
External students can still benefit from our resources and services (loans, returns, reservations, consultation of special documents, etc.) and remain welcome for the rest of the year.
In some libraries, it is also essential to book your seat online.
Informations about the cramming period
Public holidays: libraries and study areas will be closed on December 25 and January 1, and at 3 p.m. the day before.
Will be open (week of December 23) :
- Weekdays: Léon Graulich (8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.), the 20-Août reading room (8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.), Santé - CHU (8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
- Saturday December 28: Léon Graulich (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.), the 20-Août reading room (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Santé - CHU (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
Will be open (week of December 30):
- Weekdays: Léon Graulich (8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.), the 20-Août reading room (8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.), Santé - CHU (8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.).

Additional study rooms at ULiège
From December 21, 2024 to January 24, 2025, additional study rooms will be available. They will be closed on Mondays, December 25 and January 1, and at 3 p.m. the day before.
From December 23 to January 4, entry to the 20-Août complex will be via the PMR door in building A2 - place Cockerill, again by badge (staff and students).

- Weekdays: 8.30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sart Tilman (Agora district) : B8 - Room S2 (level +2)

The B3 (Outremeuse) Resource Center will be closed on December 25 and 26, as well as January 1st, but remains accessible for the rest of the break.
