Cramming Period - Libraries & study rooms

22 April 2024
Blocus du printemps 2024

From April 22 to June 21, the library applies the "cramming period" policy to help you study in the best conditions.

New: this year, for the entire cramming period, we are extending the opening hours of the 20-Août reading rooms and Health – CHU to 10pm from Monday to Friday. If the number of visitors shows that these hours meet a need, we will consider extending them during the next cramming periods.

During the reading period:

  • Studying in the library is restricted to ULiège and CHU members, due to crowding. Students from other institutions can come and study in the additional study rooms and remain welcome in the library the rest of the year. Always carry your student card, as you may be asked to show it.
  • You must book your seat to study in some of our locations (see below).
  • Additional study areas are available for both ULiège and non-ULiège students. Some of these areas are also open on Saturdays.

If you don't have a smartphone or computer that can do this, please contact the library reception desk: we'll check in for you.

3 - If you're unable to come, cancel your reservation.

Students from other institutions

Due to the large number of students coming during the reading period, study in the library is reserved for members of the ULiège and the CHU of Liège.

You can come and study in the additional study rooms and benefit from our resources and services (loans, returns, ...). You remain welcome in the library the rest of the year.

We wish you success in your studies!
