The Get it @ ULiège button appears next to references in bibliographic databases such as Scopus, PubMed, MLA, Historical Abstracts, EconLit, GeoRef, and others. This button allows you to access the electronic or print collections available at the University of Liège.
About PubMed
PubMed is a free database accessible to everyone. It is managed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) and the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM).
PubMed contains over 39 million references and abstracts from the fields of biomedicine, health, and related disciplines. The database includes MEDLINE, with more than 31 million references from over 5,200 scientific journals, as well as PubMed Central (PMC), a full-text archive containing more than 11 million records.
Access full-text articles
While some PubMed records include links to free full text, many do not, or only provide links to paywalled publishers. To maximise access to full text, you can enable PubMed's Outside Tool. This tool adds the Get it @ ULiège button to each record, linking you to the ULiège Library catalogue and other full-text sources.
If full-text access is not available automatically, you can request the article through the Interlibrary Loan service or access it via an open archive using Unpaywall.
