The Sciences Library will fully reopen this Tuesday, 7 April, after extensive renovation work. Come and discover its new spaces and services!
How do I access it ?
The new access route to the Science Library starts from Building B5a (Physics). From there, go up one floor and cross the footbridge to Building B6b, where the new library reception area is located.
You can find this route — as well as directions to our other locations — in a short video on our YouTube channel and in a highlighted story on our Instagram account.
What is new ?
Three new collaborative working rooms are now available! Each room can accommodate up to 6 people and can be booked via Book It.
You will also be able to enjoy a range of redesigned spaces combining comfort, efficiency and aesthetics:
Level 0
- A brand-new reception area
- Additional running tables with 12 high seats for comfortable work at the heart of the library
- A zone equipped with desktop computers for consultation or study
- Fully renovated restrooms
Level -1
- A redesigned work area
- Lounge chairs in the silent zone
- Shelving dedicated to “for my break” books
Level +1
- A refreshed work space
In addition to the new installations, significant efforts have been made to recover and refurbish existing furniture. This reflects our commitment to environmentally responsible design while preserving the unique character of this location.
The library team looks forward to welcoming many of you!
